Keys at 11 PM
Talked with the medical caseworker on my case today and she managed to get both the EBT card and the medical sorted, it seems, so it should all come through Monday. Thank goodness. One less thing hanging over me.
We tried to sleep earlier tonight because we've been running on fumes — the last few days of travel and no sleep really stacked up. And then at 11 PM my mom came in unannounced to return the keys, which woke us up and put Bear on guard, barking all around the place. In general it just wasn't a good vibe, and it got me triggered again, that specific old feeling — this is exactly the kind of thing I had to deal with constantly growing up, the boundary that isn't really a boundary. Though I guess it is what it is. Human brains didn't exactly evolve with locked doors and personal space in mind. Still, we're modern humans now, so... yeah. You'd think.
At least she gave back the key fob, which means I can actually get into the gym tomorrow. Jordan had a whole lot to tease me about, laughing the way he does to cover up that he was a little shocked too, lol.
