The Whole Way Back

Spent today driving back to the Bay from Reno, and I did pretty much the whole way in one go — only real stop was a McDonald's to refuel and rest for a bit. The sky was pretty the whole drive, which was a nice bonus for something that's mostly just hours of road. At some point Jordan said it felt faster than usual, and I said yeah, that's because I'm the one driving this time. My back hurt a lot less too, thanks to the pillow I added to his car, which turned out to be one of my better small decisions.

We basically went to sleep the second we got home. Another whole day handed over to traveling. Somewhere in the drive I caught myself wondering how much carbon I put into the air today. No real answer, just the thought sitting there.
