Everyone Has a Golf Cart

Today we drove out to Almanor's lake and went around the peninsula on Jordan's dad's new golf cart — the one Jordan actually helped pay 50% of. It was like $10,000? Damn. The cart itself was really nice though, and I got to drive it, which was very fun.

Along the way it hit me that basically everyone out here has a golf cart. They're all over the island, like every single family has one. There must be thousands of them. And there's a ton of college students too, it seems like — kids from the nearby universities who've all decided to spend the Fourth of July weekend out here. Interesting little world to wander into.
